This week

I really enjoyed reading this piece by Molly Fischer at New York on the millennial aesthetic.

I wore a black, white and red sari that I bought at Daachi, and it falls so neatly that I am almost duped into believing my draping skills have improved.

I started knitting the True Colors shawl, and I am excited/scared at the prospect of 10 color changes. (I already spent three days and pulled an all-nighter untangling a skein of yarn. Note to self: you are no longer 16 and cannot pull an all-nighter without destroying your entire week)

My debilitating brain fog went away. (Of course, I reversed that with the all-nighter) But it’s kind of amazing how well I feel after days of being unable to type even a single word.

I have spent no time stuck in traffic thanks to the Coronovirus-fueled anxiety/school closures. I’d like for fewer traffic-free days, but I fear for the sanity of the children being homeschooled.
